Good local getaway spots?

Hi, we're new in Hong Kong. My parents are coming to visit later this month and hubby and I would like to go for a quick getaway while the grandparents watch the kids for the weekend. Any suggestions on laidback places we can visit around here where we can have some R&R?

silvermine bay is a good place for a quick local getaway. there's a hotel called silvermine which is located close to the ferry pier and right by the beach. you can also hike/take a taxi to the other nice beaches on that island.
