Hi, can anyone recommend any good OBs on the Kowloon side they were happy with? Preferably one that I can get into soon and not have a 2 month wait? And that speaks English since I don't speak Cantonese or mandarin well....

Plus if they take BUPA.

Anywhere on Kowloon side is OK... TST, Etc.

Thanks!

Hi Lcnyc123, I was wondering if you had any lead on this. I am also looking for a good OB on the Kowloon side who takes BUPA.
I have been having highly irregular periods for past one year and been to different GPs twice. Both the times they gave me pills that worked for few months and then again I am back to irregular periods. I think that I should see a Gyn or OB this time.
I have not been to many doctors here so I am not sure about the procedure. I was told that I need to get a referral from a GP in order to meet a Gyn. So my understanding is that I need to first meet a GP, get a Gyn referral and then book an appointment with the Gyn. But can I ask the GP to give me a referral to the Gyn of my choice? I thought i can take a direct appointment or just walk in to any Gyn/OB clinic.
I am quite confused with how these things work here. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi - I'm pregnant, so i was specifically looking for an OB (not sure if they also do GYN, believe so, but worth checking). However, neither of them take Bupa, so I have to pay first and then submit for approvals later. I thought I read something in my BUPA materials that Ob/GYN (women's health) doesn't require referrals.. but this may be company specific. so worth checking the materials your company provides. I went to Dr. Connie Yuen at first for several visits, but she doesn't deliver anymore, so recently switched to Dr. Wing Yee Fok in TST at Prestige Medical Center. Both speak English well. Dr. Yuen is slightly older and is straight to the point (and knows her stuff). Dr. Wing is on the younger side and seems to know her stuff as well - only been to 1 visit.
