Glenn Doman books

Hi mamaS,
Started 2 mths ago with my 16 mths on English flashcard. Not easy to keep it up though. At least that is what happen to me. Are you going to start with your baby?

I got them from Page1 bookstore. They have low stock...it's good to reserve in advance if u r getting from there

They normally stock them and you can get them off the shelf.

KinderU is a playgroup using Doman principles.

My son, now 2 yrs 8 mths, have been on Doman since 2 mths old. It works fabulous. Early reading and maths.

I've heard of kinderU....do you have to enrol your son? or you just read him the book/flashcard at home?
 
I do my own Doman program at home, doing flashcards on Chinese, English words and maths. I google the images.

Teaching baby math

Hi Cemily,
May I know how you do the dot cards with your child? My 15-month-old doesn't seem to be interested in them at all -- whenever I take the cards out she just walks away. Is it true, as the Doman method claimed, that children can learn to 'count' the dots in a glance?

Linda and Hanley,

Parents are known to find the math dots have a window. Generally, you need to start nearly at birth. Babies starting at 9 mths or older generally do not seem to be able to do dots anymore. That is the general case, but of course there are known exceptions too. You may wish to try with your child despite she is 15 mths already.

Yes, my son started at 2 mths. By 7-9 mths, he was doing 2 part equations (eg 15 + 30 = 45) using dots. At around 12 mths, he lost interest and refused to read dots. Since then, we have stopped our math program.I plan to restart our math program this summer.

Can I ask How is your son's lesssons going at Kinder U?
I'm interested in Right Brain teaching method, and I'm going to have a seminer at Kinder U then, they don't tell us more before seminer especially about fees, it's very expensive, isn't it?
I've known right brain teaching method for about half an year, and some of them I've started to teach by my self at home already.
I wonder what can I make new flush cards for my children in order not to dislike doing flush cards any more!!

I did GD math card by myself, i will do the read kit later too.

If you don't have the time, i can make one for you if you want.
