German-speaking playgroup in Shatin/Ma On Shan area

Hi there,

I am a German dad of a 2 years 4 months old German-Chinese boy. I am looking for other German-speaking parents in the Shatin/MOS area to meet in an informal playgroup setting. Depending on season and weather potential venues could be MOS park, Bumbletots in MOS, Snoopy world in Shatin, Shatin park, etc.

Mein Sohn(13 Monate) und ich werden von Jan bis April in Hong Kong sein, k?nnen gerne mal zusammen spielen. ^^
 
Hallo Christoph, ich habe eine Tochter im gleichen Alter (2 Jahre 5 Monate). Ich bin viel unterwegs und befurchte das ihr Kantonesisch und Englisch sich viel schneller als Deutsch entwickeln, meine Frau spricht leider nicht Deutsch. Wir wohnen in Shatin und wuerden gerne ein paar deutsche Spielfreunde fuer sie finden. Sind auch ab und zu in Snoopy's. Wuerde mich freuen, wenn du dich meldest. Gruss, Alex
 
Das klingt mal nach einem ziemlich guten Match. ;) Wir sind naechte Woche wieder in HK und koennen uns dann gern mal treffen.

Just to update that we relocated to Tai Wai so my radius of activity is extended to Kowloon Tong. We live in Festival City which has a number of indoor and outdoor playgrounds.

Is the German playgroup active?
We are moving to MOS/Tai Wai. My husband is German and my daughter is more proficient in German as her dad is home most of the day with her. We are here until mid July then home to Munich until late August.

If the playgroup is active, could you please PM me the details of meetings? We would love to join in. I am also at the beginning stages of learning German! Might benefit me! LOL!

No it is not active on a regular basis. If you and/or your husband with kid would like to arrange something somewhere I am open for suggestions.
