I took my 3.5 yr old daughter to see the dentist today. Unfortunately she has 7 cavities, despite our effort to keep a good dental hygene routine. The dentist recommended general anesthesia for fixing all the cavities at one go. I asked about alternatives but she seems to be pretty set in her mind.
I'm just wondering if this is the only option out there for a young child with lots of cavities. Can the dentist fix the cavities one or two at a time with laughing gas? Has anyone been through similar procedure who can share their experience? Many thanks!
