gathering for working mums in central

Hello,

I'm trying to organise a lunch with other working mums in Central with babies less than a year old....if interested, pls respond to this thread (it's a continuation of another thread I started before under "working mums with babies less than 1 yr).

Proposed date: Thursday, 6th Dec
Venue: Central - recommendations welcome
Time: lunch hour - 1 to 2pm

I thought we could share on topics which are hopefully common to other mums with babies this age...

- breastfeeding and working
- leaving baby with helper & attachment issues
- balancing working and being a mum
- which playgroup?

etc.

Looking forward to meeting other working mums!
 
Hi Premama, I'll be interested to join, and am on maternity leave right now. I'll be back to work in March. Would love to be kept posted of the next gathering then :-)

Hello Premama. I will love to join but will be returning from a business trip only on the morning of 7th Dec. Can you change lunch to 11 Dec? My daughter is now close to 5 months old and will be interested in your experience in feeding babies solids.
 
I'd love to join in too - let me know what date you decide on. I'm actually heading back to work part time on 6th Dec :))
 
Great! So let's meet up on 12th then. Will you all be bringing your babies? Any suggestions as to venue in Central?
 
Not sure where you are in Central so here's a few places that I can think of that aren't too crowded and where we can book a table.

- Wagyu
- Zenses
- La Mer Brasserie

Anywhere else you can think of?
 
i would like to join the next meeting too... will be going back to work end of january and would love to get advice from other working moms.

Sorry for the late reply. I just returned from a work trip in San Francisco. The 12th is not good for me since I have a work lunch. You ladies go ahead and I shall join you for the next lunch. Have fun.

Let's try Di Vino - I think so far there's Jube, LeaH, mommybee and staceyng joining for lunch so I'll book a table for 5? Will you all be bringing your babies? If so, I should let the restaurant know when booking.

Does 1pm work for everyone? My lunch hour is from 1 to 2pm.
 
Great thanks Premama. DiVino's probably good cos it's quite quiet there and they have a great set lunch deal for $98 if i remember correctly :) Can you let us know what name the table's booked under? Thanks!

I won't be bringing my baby since I'll be heading to the office after lunch.

I've booked Di Vino for 1pm for 12th Dec, 3 adults and 2 babies.

I'd love to join too! I just moved here (with my husband) and scheduled to give birth Jan 28th; my first. Taking a sabbatical from work until I can get adjusted to my new home and mommy life.
