I am from Malaysia and has a high possibility to be seconded to HK for work in the financial sector.
From where I'm from, it is very common to have a DH (existingly I have one) but we never leave our child alone with them due to various negligent/abuse cases reported here. I still send my baby to a full time daycare while I work.
Similarly, while I can have the option to hire or bring over my DH to HK, I would prefer to send my baby to a full-time daycare. I know it is near impossible to find one in HK. And I've enquire for nanny services - they are so expensive!
Any other alternatives you think I could explore?
