Full month celebration

For those chinese, how did you celebrate this? what are the rituals to do? Do you have to give out red dyed eggs and ginger?

Any recommendation for caterers? thanks.

Since i'm a Christian, we had our little while prayer before the dinner started by serving cater food. I did prepare red dyed eggs, ginger pettitoes and chicken wine for my guests.

Some of my friends are Buddhist, and they told me they don't like to take red dyed eggs as they believe the eggs will bring bad luck to them. I'm not sure is it a taboo or not, since i'm not a Buddhist, so i still preparing the eggs.

thanks huisia, did you give each guest 2 eggs, or they just get it from the table if they want it? i don't know how to prepare the ginger.
