fresh xmas tree - help!

Hi
I have had to travel back home due to a family emergency and only just arrived back in Hong Kong. We always get a fresh xmas tree at christmas but our usual supplier is now out of stock. I've tried supermarkets and the Stanley market (florist area), all sold. Any ideas on where I can go on HK island?
My kids are devastated :(

Devastated kids can easily be bribed with sweets or new toys :-)

Parents could try:
Pokfulam nurseries across from PFL fire station
Chun Hing Garden, Wong Nai Chung Road, Happy Valley
Greenhouse Nursery, 42 Tai Chung Hau, Fung On Village, Sai Kung
 
The florist right next to Taste (or is it Great?) at Pacific Place usually stock them - same supplier as the shop on Lyndhurst Street who should also have them. Very nice trees.
 
saw hundreds at the happy valley nursery two weeks back. the one mentioned above, it's a couple of blocks from Sanatorium Hospital. Right next to Parsi cemetry.
 
there's also a nursery next to the parknshop in jardine's lookout that sells Xmas tree. also saw mini ones at the plant/flower store at the times square citysuper today.
 
Market Place on the Peak had them last week. Would be worth calling them to see if they have any left.

we got one from ikea a few years ago. it was the scrawniest thing you ever saw!
it looked positively anorexic!

the price of the trees at wellcome keep going down. first they were $888, then last week they were down to $680.... wonder what they'll be on xmas day?
 
we're doing christmas in january after my mum and step-dad arrive for their month long holiday. i'm hoping wellcome will still have a few left at REALLY cheap prices on xmas day. then the kids and i can decorate one then and keep it up until cny.
 
We are also doing a Christmas after the actual holiday and also planning to buy one from Wellcome then. Hope they'll still have some in stock.
 
Has anyone seen any live Christmas trees left anywhere? So far everywhere I have called is out of stock. I have called Wellcome, Marketplace, Brighten in the Flower Market, P&F Garden, Chun Hing Garden, Anglo Chinese Florist. Thanks!
 
our wellcome is not out of them.... portia, do you drive? if so, why not take a drive out to sai kung and visit the dozens of nurseries out this way? i cannot remember all of their names, sorry!
 
Have you tried King Fung Nurseries? tel: 26436628. Don't know if they have any left, but we got a lovely one from them.
