We were just there over X'mas. We stayed in a villa in the Residence side so not sure about how the rooms are in comparison to the rooms in the resort side. In terms of facilities, they have a kid's club that is great. When our kids were tired of swimming, they spent the rest of the time in the kid's club. All the ladies in there were very friendly. Right in front of the kid's club there's a tiny pool that would be great for your 6 month old. They have kayaks on the beach that you can borrow (free) and we took our 3.5 year old out for a couple of rides. If you do go, make sure you try one of the BBQ seafood restaurants on the beach just down the road from the hotel. It was one of the best meals that we had.
