For those moms who end up not breastfeeding or having difficulties, which baby formula did you use with your newborn?

i suggest you get these - for cow's milk: hipp organic stage 1 from bumps to babes or holle formula (kinderkinder.com.hk). no hard poo poo =)

I use Similac Advance. It was given to us in the hospital (in US) and we've used it ever since.

My boy drinks Friso and his poo poo is nice and soft. Quite a few friends told me S26 is 'heated' meaning baby will have hard poo poo. S26 is also known as 'fat boy water' in Chinese -- fattening so to speak.

A couple of friends (at two different locations) in Australia that have had babies in the last 6 months were recommend by the hospitals to use Nan HA. It is supposed to be less likely than other formulas to cause allergic reactions.

shifted from Friso to Nestle Nan HA a little over a month ago. My boy had a bad case of eczema when weather changed and 2 pds recommended Nan HA. The consistency and color seem closer to breastmilk compared to Friso. Never have to worry about hard poo poo cos it's so soft and smooth, just like pancake mix. Oh! Also, the poo is green. Kind of freaked us out at first as bb had yellow poo all along. The only thing that we don't like about Nan HA is the smell of his farts and poo -- worse than my hubby's, so you can imagine.
