Follow on formula

I'm about to introduce my 6 month old to follow on formula milk. She's currently on NAN HA 1 and I'm not sure I want to move her on to their second stage milk as I've heard it's very sweet and is vanilla flavoured. What have other people's experiences been with follow on formula? Which brands are best?

We switched to Enfamil Stage 2 with AHA and DHA (Pink Can). It wasn't sweet and I read it was the closest to breastmilk. We never switched to Stage 3 as our paed advised us not to. It seems the composition is quite different and kids were getting constipated on it.
