Folic Acid Supplement

Hi, ladies!
Have anyone tried any folic acid supplement before being pregnant? What brands did you use? Any suggestions?

By the way, have anyone been vaccinated for rubella? Is it ok to be vaccinated before getting pregnant? Let's say, 2-3 months from now? thanks

Hi,
I've used Pregnacare with all three of my pregnancies. You can get it in Watsons.

You also need to be immunised against ruebella, but I don't know how long before getting pregnant, as in the UK we're all immunised as teenagers.

I have been vaccinated against rubella But that soon after my 2nd baby and you should EXTRA CARE not to have a baby for the next one yr.The Rubella antibodies are not to make the next baby STONE DEAF of they are born in this period.Folic acid is really great with the inner and cosmetic health like skin and hair too...

Hello!
My wife had to be re-vaccinated for ruebella before trying to become pregnant. The vaccine must eventually wear out (at least in some people). They gave her a blood test to determine the prescence of the antibodies.
Folic acid is now a "necessity" here in the US.
