Flight allowance

We're leaving HK for good on Friday, and I need to give my helper her home leave allowance/return flight allowance for when she takes her leave whilst at her new employer. I've looked on-line and the flight prices vary greatly. Any suggestions on what would be classed as a reasonable figure all in? She doesn't know when she'll go back so I can't even look at flight prices around X date.

Normally the price of the ticket would be based on today's fares. If the fares vary greatly, perhaps give her something in between which is reasonable. Travel allowance is $100/day. Give her a little extra for the AExpress. Normally the new employer will probably not ask her to pay for the ticket when she does go home. At least I've never asked my helper to pay half. Round trip fares are fairly cheap.
 
Thank you Rani and Bagel. I'm thinking that it's likely that her new employer will pay for it when needed too, but want to at least attempt to do the right thing. Hadn't heard of the CX promos before - handy!
 
Cathay and Philippines Airlines usually do special fares for domestic helpers. We also check prices on Cebu Pacific.
 
Also 1 more thing, you need to give her a ticket back to her hometown and not just Manila.
