Have seen Fitzroy programs in Australia and Malaysia. From what I read, the feedback is very good. Is wondering if this program is in Hong Kong? Or is there any successful Australian program in HongKong?
I've used the Fitzroy Phonics programme in Australia - its great. The sounds are taught in a logical sequence and the readers and worksheets perfectly match the sounds being taught. The only way to access the resources is through the Aussie website - they ship internationally. Far better than Oxford Reading Tree as the vocabulary used in their books, particularly the earlier stages, never matches the phonetic development of younger students forcing them to memorise words rather than apply phonetic knowledge.
Is not that familiar with Jolly Phonics and Letterland, therefore is windering if Fitzroy can be sucessful in Hong Kong as i is such a good programme...
Is not too familiar with Letterland and Jolly Phonics...are they very popular?
And having Fitzroy as such a good programme, do you think it would be popular in Hong Kong?
