First pregnancy! What are the next steps?

Hello! So we just found out that I'm pregnant (took a clear blue test and it showed 3+ weeks!) I am super excited but now anxious as I don't know what to do next?! I'm currently looking for a good OBGYN in central to get the pregnancy confirmed and have my first check-up. Can someone recommend a good and caring OBGYN (female)?

Also, if someone can tell me what are the next steps after first check-up that would be amazing. Thank you so much!

P.S. We have decided to go private and most likely have an elective c section.

You don't need to see a Dr to confirm your pregnancy - home kits are fairly accurate. I would pop into your nearest pharamcy and get a bottle of folic acid (very important in early stages) and a prenatal vitamin.

We have a list of expat friendly Drs in our directory. Would recommend seeing a Dr when you're about 6-7 weeks so you can hear baby's heartbeat. Congratulations again!!!
