Hi, I would love to meet up for a short chat on Sunday, but have no Idea where this place is. Sorry, new to Hong Kong. Could you give me some more details, please?
Hi !
Hope you had a great time on sunday's lunch ! Just to let know that another coffee meeting will take place at Tree at Horizon Plaza on next friday, 2pm, if any more mums want to join ? It just happens to be the same place as the last one, but I'm ready to move to any other place if it's more convenient.
AgnesForbes... congratulations, and welcome to HK ! don't hesitate to ask questions, and you'll also find plenty of good advices on this forum. The medical system is very good in HK, and there are lots of mums willing to help you
Any where along the MTR line is more convenient for me - and I can't do Fridays... I could possibly do Friday after 2:30 if it was in Central but other than that, I can't do Fridays...
Hi Kirsten and Kate
A friend just recommended this forum and looks great. I am 9 weeks with twins, due 25 Aug but am told will likely be a few weeks early. My first babies! I would love to meet up and can do this Sunday.
Karen
I'm joining the club
It's my second one. And my due date is in September '10.
I would love to meet up and chat about the nuances of being preggers in Hong Kong but am only available after work i.e. 5:30 or on weekends.
Hi everyone
We are also expecting our first baby, and due date : July 26
We 've been going to a private doctor for regular check up , and are planning to go to St Paul's Hospital (private) for delivery. But we've also gone to the public hosptial for registration and for initial blood test. As friends told us to get ourselves register in the public health system in case of pre-mature birth , and Queen Mary Hospital has one of the best NICU in Asia.
I know that Frenchy is in Ap Lei Chau and some of you guys have met over that side. Well Bumps to Babes has a big sale over there next week and I was thinking of heading over on Wednesday. The sale is at the DCH building which is next to Horizon Plaza but I was thinking maybe if anyone wanted to meet for cake/coffee at Babycakes or whatever its called? (is that the one that you guys go to??) Best time for me would be afternoon, maybe around 3pm or so? Does that suit anyone else?
I would have loved to, but I have some other things already planned on that day. Just to let you know, the sale is pretty much about big stuff (beds, high chairs, big toys, tables...) which can be interesting as they have only one sale for this stuff every year.
Enjoy the coffee and cakes !
The email that I got said that it's 60% off ELC toys, and grobags are $200, and maternity/kids clothes $50 each, kids shoes and sandals all $250... I'm not interested in big stuff, I've already got it all from my daughter I think (although I've gotta get her out of the cot before the new bub comes!!)
Hi
I have just come across this thread and wanting to join in as i am having my first (!!) in early September this year- i live/work in Macau but will be having my baby in HK (hopefully!), and travel to HK frequently with work. Do not know anyone in Macau/HK who is pregnant or with children so super keen in getting to know others, and asking/discussing different things as they come along....
so let me know if anyone is meeting up in HK with similar due date, or if anyone in Macau...would be great to meet for coffee and a chat....
Cheers
Mikala
Hi Mikimoo !
Congratulations !
We are organising a meeting at the Grand Hyatt on the 24th feb, from 3.30 pm. If you think you can make it, just answer on the other post in the same due date forum, but called High tea, and i'll make the booking for you.
Hope to meet you soon !
Congratulation! I am due on 9th July. I am working in Macau too so it is hard to travel to HK to meet up with other mums on the weekday. Is this your first? Another friend of mine in Macau is due end of June so it will be great if we can form a small due date club. Let me know when you are available so I can organise for coffee.
Hi
would love to catch up with other expectant mums in Macau- this is my first so a bit unsure of the whole process... is it yours?
I will be away for 2 weeks from tomorrow in Australia (can not wait) but will be back in early March, so will get in touch to catch up for coffee if you are still keen! I look forward to it!
Hopefully see you soon, and hope everything is going ok for you!
