First Birthday Party Supplies

Hiya,

We are planning our second child's first birthday party but don't know where to buy custom made party supplies and disposable helium tanks to fill the balloons at home ourselves.

We have seen a couple of places with normal helium tanks however the tanks are far too heavy to carry and they cost far too much!

You can buy disposable helium tanks at several stores in the UK but I don't know where to look for them here.

Any guidance is appreciated!

We were looking for the same thing but drew a blank. What worked for us in the end was to go to our neighbourhood florist and order a bunch of helium balloons ($35 each): quite gaudy colours, but the kids loved them. We had regular balloons around as well tied to things.

you can get the balloons filled up with helium in party paradise, complete deelite and a minigiftstore located in kwai hing.

wish i knew where to get those tanks since i've been looking for one too but no luck! i've scoured around since january for my bub's birthday this june so those shops mentioned above are the ones i'd go to.
 
Hi,

I found this website called Box of Fun through the HK local forum recently (for my son's first birthday party).

They do balloons and party supplies. not sure if they customise or have the helium tanks. However, prices for balloons are much cheaper than complete deelite, etc. Based on my (limited) experience with them, i find them to be professional. They communicate well in English.

That's a shame :(, Is there really no where in Hong Kong that sells disposable helium tanks?!

Someone should start a business!
 
Toys Club in Central and at Horizon Plaza also suply helium filled balloons - much cheaper than complete delite et al. And they communicate well in English.
