First Baby Shoes

Can anyone share some insight in getting baby's first shoes? What should I look for? (For babies who just started to walk by themselve) And where can I buy them?

We got a pair of soft leather shoes made by Robeez and I've seen a lot of other babies wearing them as they encourage proper foot development

3. Tractive, having a sole friction similar to the bare foot

of a child, like soft leather.

4. Lightweight and high enough to secure the shoe to

the foot.

I think Footstop in Coda Plaza sell Robeez. I've seen another brand at Toys R Us which is very reasonable $100/pair. And Bumps to Babes carry a higher end brand.

Footstop also carry Start-rite shoes which are very good too.
