Favorite Pregnancy and Baby Books

There are loads of pregnancy and baby books out there. Which ones did you enjoy reading and would you recommend to others?



We read:

- I had a good laugh reading aGirlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy by Vicky Iovine

- A bit more serious and more informative What to Expect when You're Expecting by by Heidi E. Murkoff

- We recorded our pregnancy in The Pregnancy Journal by A. Christine Harris PhD

- Daddy's favorite: The Expectant Father by Armin A. Brott

- This book helped me get organised with lists on the essentials for both you and yr baby Getting Ready for Baby by Helene Tragos Stelian

By far the best baby journal is from Reyland Peter and is called My Baby's Journal.
Its well laid out and includes sections on mealtimes, outings and more. Plus the pictures are beautiful.

Definitely any of Dr. William Sear's - The Pregancy Book, The Birth Book. He has a great website too. For breastfeeding #1 book is La Leche League's The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. Available through La Leche League Hong Kong!! Judi
