Does anyone else feel their muscles and bones being driven over by some heavy load trucks?
I feel that way everyday when i wake up.I used to wake up at 5.30 and now its as late as 9 am and it makes me feel horrible.
The doc said its the climate but i just cant blame it on the climate and go on so was wondern if anyone has any remedies for this kinda fatigue?
I tried drinking loads of water but to wake up in the morn is turning tuf.
I wonder how the elderly in hk manage to wake up and take walks in this climate.
Do let me know what i shud do.i am taking a balanced vegeterian diet and exercising daily save the morning walks...

if you believe in chinese herb tea, you can get a 'hui-sup-cha' that gets rid of the dampness inside the body.

oh yes i believe in chinese med and all.i take green tea and oolong tea everyday.hmm....hui sup cha...?is that how i say it then?
where can i get it?
how often shud i drink it?is it alright to drink it with the other teas?
thanku ELT for ur reply.
So it dampness that coz fatigue?
Cud you tell me more?
Thanx again.

I'm no expert in chinese medicine but a lot of people believe dampness in the body can make you feel tired, just like deep fried food will give you 'heat'.

You can get the pre-packed 'hui-sup-cha' herbs (that's how it is pronounced in cantonese) at any chinese medicine stores. You'd need to rinse them a few times with tap water. To make the tea, first you have to bring it to a boil with a large pot of water (perhaps 1 to 2 L depending on how big the pack is but you can ask the store keeper for instruction), then turn to medium heat and boil for another 30 min. I usually add a block of brown sugar to neutralize the bitterness.

As to how often you should drink depends on your body. you can ask the chinese doc for recommendations.

Sorry, but I just read the other thread that you posted, it seemed a little strange that you suddenly started to produce milk like substance at the same time as feeling lethargic. It could be infection or something. I would go and see a doctor just to get checked out immediately, if for nothing, just for sake of mind.

About eight years ago I felt very tired and fatigued. It was as if I had enough energy to last the day - so long as I did nothing. If I exercised in the morning then I'd need a long afternoon nap.

My doctor did blood tests and discovered I had an under active thyroid. She then put me on some little tablets everyday and almost immediately I felt better.

In fact I felt wonderful even though I discovered I was pregnant about four weeks later. I'd take morning sickness over a low thyroid any day!

engee, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding then I wouldn't suggest you to take chinese herb tea before consulting your doctor... sorry, I should have checked with you before recommending you the tea...

Thanx a lot for the replies.
