Exposing Kids to Art in HK

Hi Ladies,

I'm sure I'm one of the few and far between expat daddies in the group that stays at home with the babies while my wife works. I'm an artist, myself. I painted in college and am passionate about exposing my 2 kids (7 year old girl and 5 year old boy) to the arts asap.

Recommendations on kid friendly artistic things for them to do in town?

I found hkeld.com to be helpful in finding what shows were good quality and family friendly but I'm wondering about the museums, art classes and such.

Thanks in advance!

There's the Hong Kong Art Fair coming up in May and they might have art tours for kids. Either way, you could just take your kids. The last time I went, I saw a few kids having a ball in one of the installations (which was set up to allow interaction).

We do the art fair every year with my son and his friends. It's such a riot to see some of the installations. Sushi, coke bottles with the faces of US presidents a car painted by Andy Warhol. There are even a few interactive exhibits for kids. We even went to the Andy Warhol exhibition last month in TST.
