ERGO baby carrier

If you can wait, you can probably get it at the Parkview Charity Bazaar this coming Oct 19. Doubibou will be there, as far as I know, so you can probably email her first to make sure that she will definitely bring along some ERGO carriers with her. This way, you will save on shipping costs.

B2B sells Ergo. Last time I went there, it was sold out but shop people said they will have new stock on Oct 6.

doubidou closed down?

Hi, has anyone ordered anything from doubidou lately? I need the infant insert for my ergo baby carrier and B2B is out of stock, indefinitely. But now I can't find doubidou online either- has it shut down? Thanks.

Please ignore previous response. found the doubibou website, but looks like the inserts are also out of stock there...

I'm looking for the infant insert as well. Anyone have a secondhand one they'd like to sell? Color doesn't really mater to me, I'd just like to avoid paying the full price.

hi dear,
i got mine from ebay.com.au
got it for about total AUD$100 including postage to here..

i believe it was a great deal to me as it as almost brand new indeed.

i don't think getting the insert will be any good coz i heard that u will not be able to use it long.. and it's a hassle to use it..
my baby is big so, don't need that anyway..

hope that helps!

The Ergo saves your back. We first bought the Baby Bjorn and used it for my son's first 9 months. My back was killing me and since HK is so unpram friendly, we were carrying him everywhere! We bought the Ergo at around 10 months and it's been a savior. THe way it's designed allows less pressure on your back. Plus, I think the design feels more natural for my son as he falls asleep in it so much easier and he's now 15 months!

Check their website for more info on it: ERGObaby - baby carrier - back pack - sling

But I`m just wondering about the Ergo, all these rave reviews. Ok, yeah, I`m using the Baby Bjorn, and it`s not all that comfortable for me (though my husband is fine), but I can`t imagine ANY carrier being that comfortable. I mean, you`re still adding 5-12kgs to your body. It reminds me of hobbling around in my later stages of pregnancy(I gained 18 kgs), and that`s what I don`t think is so comfortable.
Though, after going around in this city with a stroller, man, give me that pain any day - what a hectic hassle a stroller is here!

it's true carrying a baby in general, is not the greatest, but i think the difference with the Ergo (i have bjorn too!) is that the straps are much more padded and the babies weight is better distributed on you so he/she does feel AS heavy....
