hi all im due this month with my second will be coming to hk in a few months and just wanted to know whats the easiest way to get around which buggies are easiest for the HK pavements etc? phil and teds etc?

any help advice is appreciated many thanks

HK isn't really buggy friendly, especially in Central where pavements are narrow and crowded and its hilly. Best idea would be to use a baby sling/carrier like Baby Bjorn and put your first child in a light easily foldable stroller like a Maclaren. It will depend on what areas of HK you plan visiting, places like Discovery Bay are much more Buggy/stroller friendly. But on the island I wouldn't want to take anything big and heavy.

The Phil & Teds is definitely not HK friendly if you are dependent on public transport or living in Central. Getting it around supermarket aisles might be an issue as well.

Try the Bugaboo Bee or Maclaren.

i am due end of sept and dealing with the same dilemma, but have decided against a double-stroller. will do the sling and my almost 2.5 yr old in our Maclaren techno XT stroller. singapore is indeed more stroller friendly than hk, but i think the double-strollers are so bulky and heavy to push around. we bought another single Maclaren (Quest) stroller jus in case so my husband or my helper and I can go out with both at the same time. I am just hoping this will push my older son to just walk more too!
