Sorry I've not been on in ages, I've been so busy!

I filled in the application with my doc for the Matilda at 6 weeks but they didn't send it until 9 weeks, by then I was declined, so we're hoping for a cancellation. Apparently it happens a lot as everyone books more than one bed. so fingers crossed...

How are you both? Was your Tokyo trip on business or pleasure 1stbaby? I'm planning on going for a few days next month...
 
Hi ladies. I'm new to this forum. I'm pregnant with #2, due in September. I had my son in Shanghai, but looking forward to giving birth in Hong Kong this time around. :) Are you still meeting up occasionally? I work mornings, but would love to join for lunch/afternoon catch ups if it works out.

Everything is going well with me. Nearly 20 weeks now and off for my growth scan next week. Thankfully my bed at Matlida was confirmed so one less thing to worry about!! Hopefully you will get one soon!!

My friend just told me about Dr Lily Wong, I think as well as setting up the home visiting service, she also based at Holistic Central practice.I think she is from uk.My friend always saying how down to earth she is , fortunatly I have not needed to use a dr yet!Vitamin c, definatly has helped me stay way from drs

Lucky you! Still not confirmed yet at Matilda but there's loads of time yet...

How was your growth scan? I was amazed at the detail in mine. It was quite a relief to count everything and see there were no obvious problems as I didn't have the nuchal fold tests etc.

How are you coping with the sudden humidity? I've been wiped out by it... : (

My growth scan was all good, it is amazing at what you see isn't it! I was also amazed at all the things they look at! I had no obvious problems either so that was great news!

Oh, the humidity is awful! I am finding it really draining and am trying to avoid having to be outside in it too much. It's not really the best time of year to be pregnant! Oh well no too much longer to go! I am happy to be past half way!

A couple of us are meeting up on Friday 29th for a coffee (hot chocolate!) at IFC about 2.30-3.00 pm if anyone else is keen to join us?
 
Hi fellow Sept 09 mums -

I am due Sept 09 but my OB says the baby will come likely earlier. The baby is 2cms from my cervix instead of 5cms...placenta previa. Any one have advice? Want to get together for hot chocolate again at IFC? I'd be everso grateful for any advice/support. Thank you!

Yeah that message was back in May! No one seemed keen to meet up then, so only two of us have been meeting for coffee! I am happy to meet up next week if you would like? I am pretty free all week other than Thurs arvo so any other time is good.
I am due with my first baby in around 6-7 weeks, mid Sept.

Next week sound good, shall we say wed arvo in IFC? 2pm? Where do you normally meet? I'm due early october with my first too so will be great to meet with others in the same situation :o)

I can meet Wed arvo, although I have an appt at 4pm so would have to leave by 3.30. Meeting outside Starbucks is probably easiest and we can go from there?
 
Hi everyone,

Just want to check in and say hello! Its been a while. How's everyone doing? Getting excited for the baby to arrive? I am due Sept 5th so not long now, only a little over a week to wait but not a lot of signs tho except braxton hicks contractions. No show or loss of mucus plug yet...I am getting really restless coz i thought my baby will come earlier. Anyways, good luck everyone.
