Hi,
I'm due on October 17th with my first little Aussie. First scan was today and all is well so far. I'm going with an attitude of cautious optimism. Between bouts of nausea I'm keen to catch up with other October mums to be.

I was initially told my EDD was 30th Sept so I am in the Sept forum and just met about 5 ladies for lunch yesterday which was lovely.
I have only been in HK 3 weeks so it has been great to meet some other pregnant ladies.
I had a scan done here in HK at just over 8wks and have been told I am due 01st Oct. This is my first baby so I am quite cautious too.
My 12 weeks scan is due 20th Mar but we are in Sydney visiting friends so I am now booked in on the 23rd, Womens Clinic in Central and using Dr Alexander Doo.
I'll send you a PM with my mobile number and hopefully we can meet up.

I'm due on October 17th too ! I have a 15 months son who is borned in HK in 2007, but would be very pleased to meet some mums to be and make news buddies for my future baby ;)
I'm not always available as we have no helper yet, but keep me informed and I'll make my best !

Hi, I'd be interested in meeting up too, my expected due date is 20 Oct. This is my 2nd child - my 1st is now 20 months old. I'd love to meet up with other mums who are also due in Oct! I'm working in Central so it would be great if we can meet in Central (if we're meeting on a weekday for lunch).

Frency / Premama welcome and congrats!

I think I might have to duck out of meeting up this week because we are being messed around by the shipping company with our freight. They were supposed to deliver today but now they are saying Thursday and seeing as this is their 2nd delay I have no idea if they will confirm Thurs or Fri to us..... and we leave for a weeks holiday in Oz on Friday. All rather frustrating.

Def up for weekly coffee, monthly lunch, hanging out etc once I am back from Sydney on the 21st. Only been here a month so up for suggestions on where to meet etc.

I hope you are all feeling well. I think I am just about over the morning sickness, last week was quite bad.

Looking forward to us all meeting up soon.

Congratulations to all you expecting moms!

My due date is 9 Oct 2009 with my first child.Being pregnant has been overwhelming at times and scary too with spotting and light bleeding.

Will be glad to see all you Oct Due date club members but presently I am advised for rest..So can't make it now..Hopefully 2nd trimester would be the best time.

Look forward to hear your experiences and catch up soon.

Congratulations everyone! My due date is Oct 7. This is going to be my second child. My first is now 20 months old! Just like Premama! =D I work in Sheung Wan so if there are any meeting of Oct 09 moms in Central I'm up for it too!
 
Would anyone like to meet up in the week of March 30th? A few people are away at the moment and I guess by then many of us will be over the hump and hopefully feeling a bit more human.
I'm happy to organise if people are keen.

I can't meet up that week as my parents are in town but I'd been keen to meet you all at your next catch up. I'm due Oct 1st and this is our 1st baby - exciting isn't it?! :0)

We'll get the first one set up and roll on from there. I'm sure there will always be someone unavailable at any one time but hopefully we can get people together at some point.
 
Does anyone want to meet up on Tuesday March 31st in Central?
I don't know if everyone is up for a lunch yet (still some queasiness for me), but even a decaf cuppa and chats would be nice.
Let me know if that works - maybe at noon to allow the working girls to join?
Precise location TBC (because I can't think of anywhere right now)..

Hi All,

I'm expecting number 2 as well! My son is 15 months old and I'm about 11 weeks along - had a scan yesterday and so far so good. Unfortunately Monday's don't work for us, as we have playgroup on that day but me and my son would love to come for a cuppa at some point :) Weekdays and weekends are both good. Looking forward to it ladies.

Let me add, this experience is SO different from the first time around. The nausea and exhaustion took me by surprise this time round - but keep in mind ladies it's do - able 1,2,3,4 however many times :)

Please forgive my intrusion to your forum - I am actually due, with my nr2, within next 4 weeks, so do not really belong here... However I thought that some of you may be looking for a good helper for when your lovely babies come. We will be leaving HK this summer and our excellent helper will be available as of mid-September. She is specifically good with children - that's why I thought about posting it here.

I am due very early in November. This is my second - my first is now 19 months old. I'm definitely keen to meet up with some other Mums due around my time, so give me a shout.

Congratulations and welcome Buttercup!
It seems like October and November mums on the forum are quite few at the moment, but hopefully that changes. I am 12 weeks into my first pregnancy and don't work right now, so am around a lot. PM me if you want to catch up.

Last week's group meet up wasn't very successful, but maybe we can organise something again post Easter.

Absolutely Wykamy! Maybe PM me preferred days and we can arrange something.

The last attempt at a group meet-up didn't quite work out, but hopefully people are feeling a little more social as time progresses. I guess nearly everyone is into second trimester now.
Perhaps we can try again for a lunch on Wednesday 6th of May?
Any takers?
Any suggestions for venues would be great, and if a weekday lunch isn't good perhaps a Saturday - any feedback welcome.
