Hi Monty,

Nausea is def getting better. Im only having head aches now. OSCAR scan was great, everything was OK. Im very happy! Plus i found out the gender of my baby. Im having a GIRL! Its our first baby. Cant believe im really gonna be a mum in a few months... Hope to meet you guyz soon!

I think you're the other one in this group to have no. 2 due in November? My first is a boy, and is 17 months old. Love to meet up to chat/for a playdate one day!

can i join the cake group?!

Hi ladies,
A friend just told me about these due date forums and i'd love to join if that's OK (you sound like my kinda gals, with all the talk of cake and tea!).

Our little boy (our first!) is due mid-November so i guess that's around the same time as quite a few of you.

It'd be great to have some other people to talk about pregnancy and baby stuff with (as well as other things too of course!)

I work during the week but it's quite flexible so i can often pop out for a sneaky hour or two, so maybe i can meet some of you if you're arranging to meet sometime soon?

I have a 19 month year old boy and am expecting twins in Nov. I was working full time until a couple of weeks ago, so I understand how difficult it is for working mums to arrange playgroups.

Had a lovely drink with Monty last week.

Would love to catch up too.
 
xpecting, I'm most definitely up for CAKE. I have playgroup tuesday and wednesday afternoons so any other times suit me best.

Bubi - congratulations on your little girl! That is wonderful news.

Buttercup/Xpat/everyone else - seems like Thursday or Friday afternoon is on for CAKE this week. Any ideas where? The forecast is for rain for the rest of the week so will need to be indoors and relatively child friendly.
 
Cake sounds great!!! Any sort of food I can get my hands on these days makes me happy. Friday afternoon is good for me.

Plumtree- will you bring your son this week? If so, I'll bring my daughter. She loves company. Funny enough, all her play mates seem to be boys a few months older than her :)
 
Btw ladies, not sure if you know, but Thursday is a public holiday, so will you have plans with hubby/partner?
 
Whoops, sorry, am going on a family trip to Singapore this long weekend so will not be able to come. All my son's favourite friends seem to be little girls who are older than he is! (I see trouble in future....)
 
Hi Janey - I completely forgot that Thursday is a public holiday. My other half and I haven't even discussed what we will be doing. With this weather however I suspect it won't be very much! I assume then that others will be spending Thursday with their husbands/partners so Friday afternoon probably works better. Ideas?
 
Friday afternoon is probably better for me. I'm probably going to househunt on Thurs. So yeah, think of me braving the wet weather if you're staying warm and toasty! =)
 
Will do Xpat. We got stuck in the rain on Saturday whilst apartment searching. I had to come home and change my pants, shoes and socks as they were so wet! I'll think of you on Thursday whilst you are doing the same thing...!
 
Yes isn't the weather horrendous at the mo- good luck with your househunting ladies. I don't think I'll be able to join you on Friday unfortunately as I've booked the day off work for an afternoon of pampering at the spa (what a great excuse it is, being pregnant!), but hopefully if you're going to meet up again soon, I'll get to meet you all.

I can do the 5th as well as long as it is from 3pm or later. Final major report due that day by 2pm so will be ready for CAKE by 3pm!

I assume then that today is off? I have been really busy this week and completely forgot to organise today properly. Hope this is ok.
 
This week's been a bit mad for me. Today's not looking good for cake now...I'm still writing up some surgical guidelines due COB today!! *yikes*

Shall we aim for 5th June @ 3pm then? How about somewhere in Central this time? I can think of Cova at Prince's Building - covered walkways from midlevels and MTR (in case it rains!), but am open to suggestions.
