hi everyone,
i have a checkup with the docs tuesday and if all goes well i'm sure i can sneak out on wednesday for an hour or so but you all need to pardon me if i'm a bit slow and stiff (or even putting my feet up to compensate for my bedrest!) =P
just let me know where and when!
plumtree: looks like you and i are the only working moms in this group, would also love to meet up with you too to share some thoughts on how we are to balance things when the kid comes! =)

Good morning ladies. Great to see we have a small gathering for next week and that 3pm on Wednesday works well for everyone. The only place I can come up with that does tea/coffee/juices and has a selection of desserts/pastries is The Real Bread Cafe in Soho (on the escalator opposite the Peak Bar). Does this idea work well for everyone? I'm open to suggestions if anyone has a better idea.

Hi sorry for the slow response. I *might* be able to go awol from work for an hour, kinda depending on what else happens. The closer to Central the better for me, but you guys should not let me hold up your plans!

Hi all, hope it?s not too late to join the group,
I?m also due mid of November with our first baby. As Merrymum, Plumtree and Kits I?m working fulltime as well, so unfortunately cannot make it to a meeting during weekdays, but would love to join a meeting on either saturdays or sundays.
We are originally from Germany, being in HK for about a year.
I?m also still struggeling with nausea and bad headaches, but hopefully it will get better soon as I almost finished the first trimester

Welcome to the "group" Kits and Luca! Hope to be able to meet you guys soon!
Plumtree/Merrymum - Real Bread at the escalators is OK for me. But, if it is better for you guys to meet somewhere in central closer to your work (so you can spend more time with us rather than negotiating the escalators), feel free to throw in a suggestion. I work from home so central is OK for me too!
Do keep me updated if you guys are organising a weekend get together as well. I'm getting a couple of trips in over the next few months before the airlines ban me from boarding, but I'll join in when I can!! =)

hi luca, congratulations on your pregnancy! Will keep you in the loop on the weekend gathering with plumtree and kits. was thinking early june when everyone is into their second trimester and should be felling better. of course, we will keep everyone else posted as well.

I hope it's not too late to join this group? I would love to join a due date club. I'm expecting 27 November, and this is my second bubby. My 1st baby girl turns one this Thursday - so it's very exciting!
I'm originally from Australia, moved to London and worked there for 2 years, and now I've been in Hong Kong for 2 years! How time flies.
Would love to meet up for coffee/chat, but can't do this Wednesday, as I usually work Mon-Wed.
