I am newly pregnant with my second child. I am due mid-December 2010. Anyone have a due date around this time?

Would like to hear from you! :crib

Due early December

Congratulations! You must be as early in your pregnancy as I am. I haven't even seen an Obstetrician yet, but I think I am due around late November / early December 2010. Bit of a surprise (but a good one)!

Congratz! Mine should be due around late Nov as well. My first appointment to the Obstetrician is in mid-April...I am so eager to find out whether the pregnancy is safe or not.

Hi guys,

How are you all? I'm due with my second on the 18th November. Hope to be able to catch up with you guys some time. =)

Due November 2010

Hi Everyone
I posted in the Oct-Dec due date posts, but I am due mid November and saw this post!
This will be my second, first is already at school, so back at square one with it all! Crazy I know, but very exciting!
Look forward to meeting a few other mum's due around the same time.:pregnant:

Glad I got some replies on this post. I was beginning to think I was the only one. My first doctor's appt. is scheduled for mid-April. Switching doctors as my previous one was not good. Everything is good with this pregnancy so far. Maybe we can meet each other sometime soon? I have some free days in April so PM me or leave a reply here if you would like to meet up.

Hi all,

I'm due with my first baby early November and would be keen to meet other "future" mums due around the same time.
We haven't told our friends and families about it yet, so I don't really have anyone to talk about it (except the dad-to-be of course;-)

Cheers!

Always happy to meet up and chat with other mums to be! Quite a nerve wracking stage this first 12 weeks isn't it? I'm off for Easter break on holidays on Monday, but will return on the 17th April. Maybe we could organise a morning tea in Central or southside the week following? I'm flexible. Are you all working or at home?
Ponderings, I hope that you have sorted out your Obstetrician and are happy with your choice now? Good luck.

Catch up!

sea princess, pondering and kehk

I'd also love to meet up! We have not told anyone - well, one friend in the US, to whom I sent a photo of the positive home pregnancy test b/c I thought I was dreaming when I saw the line! - and it would be good to get together and talk about everything. I'm feeling excited and anxious. Dad-to-be doesn't want to get hopes up it till we're past the 12 week period...

I'm free the week after the 17th April (other than some pre-natal yoga classes I've lined up :) ) for a catch up in Central or elsewhere
Looking forward to meeting you!

Yay! I'm free most days (except Fridays) - week after 17th would be good as my mother in law will be here and, no doubt, she'll want to spend 24-7 with my son so I won't feel guilty leaving him at home! :P

Congratulations to all the ladies in this thread!

ANGO- Do you have a particular reason to be concerned that your pregnancy isn't safe? Is this your first baby?

sea_greeny-How about you? First child?

PurpleFlower-Nice to meet another second-time mom due in November. Well, I don't know if I'm due in Nov. for sure but I'm guessing it will be about the same as my first child. I fell pregnant with him approximately a week earlier in March 2 years ago and he was born at the end of Nov.

seaprincess-Yay! Another second-time mom. My son is in school too so I am glad we're having another baby now, rather than earlier--that would be too much!

KeHK-We haven't really told our families either. We decided we would tell the people we are close with (best friends etc.). Telling family is always an awkward thing for us. It's so much easier to tell friends it seems.

Just keep me posted on a meeting for the week after April 17. Sounds good!

Hi everybody

Great to see that there are so many ladies with a similar due date!
I'm not working, so I'm free most days. Yeah, those first few weeks are quite special. I can't wait until I reach the end of the 12 weeks period.

Sea_greeny: Can I ask where you're taking pre-natal yoga classes? I'm also looking to join a class, either pilates or yoga.

Looking forward to meeting you all in about 2-3 weeks time!

Started a new thread, but this one seems to be the one where all is happening!
I am due mid November with second bub.
Very exciting, but also a bit nerve wracking until the first untrasound shows everything is a-ok!

Pondering: It's our first! I'm actually just really happy to know that we can make babies, even though we're not through the 12 week period yet. At least I now know we both 'work' together in that way :)

KeHK: I shopped around a bit for my yoga classes as I only arrived in HK 7 weeks ago (yes, funny timing that, given I am six weeks pregnant), and really wanted to start doing yoga regularly. I checked out Pure Yoga (Central), Planet Yoga (Central) and the Yoga Room (Sheung Wan). Finding out I was pregnant made the decision easier, as the Yoga Room offers the most pre-natal classes per week (that I could find, anyway) - three in total: Saturday midday, Tuesday late morning and Thursday night (ie tonight, if you want to come along). Plus the prices were a lot cheaper: I paid $3088 for 12 months (actually for 6 months, with 6 months free) and no joining fee, compared with Pure, for example, which was $11,156 for the same period ($500 joining and $888 per month). Plus I felt the Yoga room suited me more - it's smaller, more intimate, and not so... competitive (?). When I went to my first class last week, they were just finishing up the mums and bubs class - I thought "Yikes! Not quite at that stage yet!" :)

catch up

Hi Everyone!
Well it's nice to know there is a few of us in the same boat - nervously awaiting the first 12 weeks! Some first time mums, some second time. Any third time mums joining us?

Let's propose some dates and venues and see where we are all placed shall we?

I was thinking Thursday 22nd April or Friday 23rd April? Either dates work for me, how are they with everyone else? Morning from 10:30-12 noon or afternoon from 2:30-4pm?

As for venue, Central or Admiralty?

Admiralty - Only place in admiralty I can think of is Great - in the cafe there? Probably could get a table at either of the times? I'm not sure if there's other choices at Pac Place, anything on the ground floor there, only eaten there for dinner before a movie?

Anyone have any idea's/requests for Central? If it's morning tea or afternoon tea, it would work well as out of peak office hour lunch rush? Could do the Mandarin oriental, always nice for a tea, although expensive! Other ideas welcome, drawing a blank, must be the hormones!

Hello again!

Hey! I'm actually a pilates instructor...! =P If any of you guys would like to get a small group together, I'm more than happy to get that going! ;P

As for meeting up, I'm good with Thursday 22nd, pref 2.30-4pm but morning is also ok. Central or Admiralty are both fine. One place we often went to with my first bub's due date club was Pizza Express in Central or Jaspas in Soho? =)

Thursday 22 is also good for me, either morning or afternoon depending on everyone's preferences. We can chat about pilates then!
I've just come back from a yoga class and am very snoozy, despite a nanna nap this afternoon. Somewhat grateful I have not found work yet - it is nice to be able to sleep when I am tired.

Hi
Thursday looks like the go so far?
Jaspas in Soho might be a good option? Morning would probably work a bit better if we are to get a table, lunch crowd might be from 12-3PM? Or if you would all prefer we can also do a lunch? Are people free earlier, say from 1:30pm or does this interfear with sleep times with other littlies? If the morning doesn't suit the majority, then the afternoon is fine, just much busier getting into Central in the afternoon from Southside and I have to do the school run in the afternoon!
Any other ideas/times welcome!

Unfotunately, I will not be able to make it on Thursday the 22. I work in the morning from 9 am-12 noon and then I have to go to class from 2:30-5:20 pm as I'm working on a certificate at the moment. After I take my lunch I will need the time to travel by public transport to the other end of HK for class.

Friday the 23 would work for me during the day.
