erib32: My baby's heartbeat was detected at 6 weeks 4 days. Like you, my pregnancy symptoms are quite mild - no morning sickness or food cravings, just very sore boobs. Good luck for your scan!
 
Hello everybody...I'm back !

Welcome to the new moms to be.

Hope you are all fine and had a great chistrmas !

My trip went well, the flight of 12.5 hours was long and not so confortable as usual...no space in these planes...but all went fine. I'm completely jet lag, awake since 4am ! hope it's not going to last too long to get back on track !

I booked this morning my NT scan on jan 9th...Otherwise, still a little bit of morning sickness, I had no more back in France, and it started again this morning...:mad:

I am bk to wk today too! Ohh I am v sleepy! Hav been enjoying my last few days of no wk!!
My morning sickness come n goes! But headaches a bit more! Hav my next scan tomor to try pinpt a date!!

Jus got out of taxi n ohh felt so pukey! Taxi driver was driving like crazy w the brakes!!!

Hi Zany, would love to join you but my Doc says he'd prefer I didn't start any exercise until I pass the 12 week mark, which is just before Chinese New Year. I'll definitely be coming along after my CNY holiday though! Hopefully my morning sickness will have gone by then too, so I'll actually feel like exercising. I'll have to dust the cobwebs off my Pure membership card first though. Haha!

Great idea - I'll join for that. Should start the Mommy classes now.

Also, ladies - saw a fab stroller while shopping in Lane Crawford. It is the Quinny Zap. Talked to the Mom pushing it because I didn't want to look like a stalker. Really want a Bugaboo now have another one to consider.

Since its last day of year I will bring the bad news and hope 09 is better!!
Went to see doc today and was told couldn't see any heartbeat and so must hav mis carriaged!!
V sad but nothing can be done! Two wkks ago could see one at wk 6 but week 8 ish nothing!

Hope I didn't ruin anyones nye!! But jus thought I share the news now then in 09!

I really hope 2009 will be a better year and will bring you a new healthy baby.Take good care of yourself and don't hesitate to come on the forum and chat sometimes if you feel like it ! Hope to hear some good news again soon.

Hi Girls,

Just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year! What did everyone get up to last night?

I've woken up feeling like I have a hangover. We went to a NYE ball and didn't get home until 3.30am. I would not have managed to stay out that late if it wasn't for my acupuncture treatment yesterday. I feel so much better after I've been to see my acupuncturist. She's amazing! I recommend it to anyone who needs relief from the dreaded morning sickness symptoms. I even have permanent tiny needles in my ears at the moment (hard to explain) and they seem to make a huge difference.

Anyway, it's such a beautiful day today so I hope you are all enjoying it so far. It's a very big year ahead for us all. How exciting!

WE had a great night and I think my husband wishes he didn't take on the challenge of drinking for both of us!! My bedroom smells like a bottle of champagne.
Great night starting at a friend's party at Cage then to MINT. We arrived home at 3 a.m. only to indulge in some post-party snacks!

Hi MisB! Sounds like you had a fab night. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one up until all hours of the morning. Haha ;) My hubby was certainly drinking for two as well.

I am feeling so rough today. I just got out of bed after a 3 hour nap. Goes to show the difference the acupuncture made yesterday.

We had a simple NYE, at home with a friend and had some good food :-) Still jet lag so didn't felt like going crazy ! We finished at 4:30am though ! I'm impatient to be on week end to sleep !

We have accepted and will jsut move on and hope the next one will be healthy!! I suppose these things happen and prob good sign it wasnt healthy or a properly fused together!


That was all in 2008! we look forward to a much better 2009! 2008 wasnt a great year for all - financial mkts bad and everything else!!

we have booked in for a D & C operation for tomor....... just get things done and move ahead!

hope u are all well and survived NYE! One thing i look forward is drinking coke , tea and eating junk food again!!

already had Mc donalds today for lunch! yummie!
