Hi expecting my second sometime in jan, scan is in a week , just haven't got around to it. Funny as I had two in six weeks last time, doing this one differently ! My first is just nine months so feels like ground hog day .. Congrats to all fingers crossed to 12 week mark !!

Just out of curiosity, which obstet is everyone seeing? Are you delivering vaginally or c section? :)

Hi emch1224 - using dr doo at women s clinic in central , delivered naturally (w/ an epidural ). Have you found a doc?

I'm seeing Dr Grace Cheung from Central Health Clinic. Thinking if natural birth (with epidural) too!

Hi everyone, I am also due in January 2015. Nice to meet you all! I am currently at 10wk. Seeing dr Pang and leaning toward a private room in Canosa! (Sanatorium was my first choice given its location and facility but it isn't as pro-natural birth as Maltida and Canosa! Maltida is really nice but too inconvenient! If anything goes wrong during my ride to the peak, it is high risk as there is only one way up there. So I am leaning toward Canosa due to location and for the same price of a normal room in Matilda, I can choose a private one in Canosa!).

I am visiting Dr Wilfred Wong in Central and he gives ample time to listen and allow questions.

Entering my 9 weeks pregnancy and will have my 3rd OB visit this weekend, will intend to stay at St Paul Hospital using epidural anesthesia vaginal delivery.

Good luck to everyone!!!

halo all the lovely mom to be, congrats to you all!
I'm currently at 10 wks, getting so excited already, reading all your post makes me feel I'm not alone! The morning sickness stage is really a pain, never felt so weak and sleepy before, hopefully by reaching the 12 weeks mark, the morning sickness will gradually calm down abit! There's so much I needs learn in the coming months, and really have no idea where to start.... I'm living close by to Queen Mary hospital, so it will be my first choice, but at the same time I'm wondering if I can stay in private room there as I'm easily freaked out by others if I need to stay in a public room with other screaming moms....

Hi mums
If there is any Australian mums out there, I have a spare copy of the 'Baby Love' book. I bought one online on amazon but got given a hand me down by a friend on the weekend. If anyone wants to buy it for cost purchased, brand new, please let me know.

Hi there, I'm going to queen Mary as well, I looked into the private rooms but it's about $75,000 so the same as being in a private hospital so as much as I would love to go private I am going to do public and try to leave as early as possible!!

What is the Baby Love book about? I'm australian, but just wondering what's the relation to the book? :)

@ emch1224, I am Australian too, will you stay here to give birth or fly back to OZ? Here to process the cititzenship is birth by descent and if you go back there can have the one time off bonus and milk money I believe.

@pollyrafiq... I really want to go back to Australia but the hubby needs to work here. I don't think I can go through pregnancy and labour without him :( what's your thoughts?

@emch1224, as my husband is British therefore he also ask me if I want to give birth in London or Sydney, my answer is Hong Kong as guarantee Hong Kong identity plus the China Home return card while I can get the birth of descent for both UK and Aust for the baby.

For your case, unless strong family support back in Aust, better stay in HK to grab your husband's hand when labor.

Pray for both of us safe delivery, my doctor appointment tomorrow for 9.5 weeks.
