Due Date in July - September 08

Count me in for scones next Saturday.

I am 26 weeks as well, definitely feeling heavy (hard to hoist myself out of bed!). Feeling good, but really appreciating an afternoon nap when I can get one!

See you soon.

Rachael

ok gals - scones at press room 108 hollywood road it is! i will book for 6 people and we can increase/decrease as the week goes on. booking under tracey.

yes feeling good and glad the weather has not yet turned really hot. still working 10 hours a day plus but had a sleep in and a chat to myself this morning :-) going to reduce the hours and work more from home if i can.

i have secured a full time maid - thank the lord. she starts mid june. i am due 26 july so should be plenty of time to get things sorted before mum and bub arrive :-)

i have bought a fair bit of stuff but still need more... wow, an expensive phase... got a great cot/jnr bed from bumps to babes last weekend so am really happy about that. is there a second hand shop that you can visit as opposed to asia expat etc?

best be off - will chat soon. cheers

I'd love to meet up for scones!
We might be leaving for our "babymoon" that day, but if not I will toddle across the street to meet you:)
27 weeks now and feeling great!

Sarah

sorry to crash in on your due date club, but Tracey Nicole could you possibly PM me details on how you found your maid? I'm not due until Oct but looking for help so I can eventually return back to work next year.

Hmmm.... not sure I a going to be able to make Saturday now.

I suppose it is a bit late to see if we could do Thursday afternoon tea instead?

If not no worries, will catch you next time.

I am sore and heavy now, ribs hurting a lot, finding it difficult to get comfortable now. But am feeling much better within myself have got some energy back at last!

hey there,

got an opportunity to head to shenners this sat (with my mates) to get curtains made. if ok, i will take the option as i doubt i will be heading anywhere in a couple of weeks time.

afternoon tea at 4pm in the press room this thurs!! is perfect for me. how about everyone else?

i got the maid from a referral. i did try and post an ad here and got some applicants. hani (a lady on this site) was also very helpful and gave me some names. sorry i can not be more helpful. post an ad and see how you go. also check out asia expat www.asiaxpat.com.hk - my boss got his from there. hope this helps.

cheers,

Thursday or Saturday 4pm is good for me. Thursday probably works out a little better for me too. I'm so excited for scones! And jam!

See you Thursday then?

Just told my husband about the afternoon tea, he got all dissapointed as he had organised to take me on a picnic tomorrow, as a surprise.
Going for the picnic option, have fun, catch you all soon.

Hi All,

Hope you had a great afternoon yesterday, sorry to have missed it. I ended up kayaking to Peng Chau for a picnic and on the way back hubby managed to capsize us! So now have a cut knee and bruised thigh trying to get back in! Not such an easy task at 29 weeks!!!

Rachael - did you have a good trip in Thailand? Not spoken to you since you got back.

Sarah - how did your jeans go? did they alter them ok?

Tracey - not getting a glucose test, I am not in the target group and so far the rest of my tests have been clear.

Hope you are all well.

Shoni

oh dear - kayaking to peng chau!! I am so tired at the moment, leavng my bed is a huge effort. Hope you are ok -you sound happy!! :-)

the scones and chat was grand as always. i seem to be getting advice from all and sundry at the moment (people who have had children and people that have not) and actually find chatting with people going through pregnancy now really helpful.

i am off to annerley this week. Rach is doing it as well which will be cool.

let me know when everyone is free - look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Hi All,

The girls as Bralicious have teamed up with some other clothing and accessory shops and are doing a special 'girly' eveing on Thursday night (8th May). It runs from 5pm to 9pm at Mandarin Rose Boutique, G/F 7 Glenealy, Central (Entrance at La Belle nail saloon).

They have some really lovely nursing bra sets and some comfy support bras and some pj's too.

I plan to go, anyone else fancy coming?

Shoni

Hi ladies. Just joined and happy to see there is a due date club. My date is Sept 1st, have had a few scans and ready to go in for my 12 week on Tuesday, where they'll do the first of the Integrated tests. It's our first, and am feeling a bit on my own because family is back in the US. We've been in HK for a year and a half and are excited for this nice surprise. Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hi ladies - looks like you've all beat me by a year. I hadn't read that this was a 2008 due date club. Congratulations to all!
