Ladies, I went into the july-sep club but seen many ladies are due over July/Aug summer period, and they have already met up a few times, felt as a late comer and feel reluctant to intrude into them.

My due date is end Sep/begin Oct, expecting the first baby, so don't know much about anything, and very interested to meet up with other expectant moms and share, hopefully in future even have the babies to meet and play with each other. live in Mid-level West work in central, would be nice to meet over weekends..

Looking forward to see more visitors to this club.

I'm pregnant with my first baby, not due until early Nov. Like you, I am also looking forward to meeting other expectant mums in HK that are due towards the end of the year.

I am a British expat currently living in Sheung Wan.

Once a few more mums have joined this due date club lets organise a get together!

Also 1st time mum.... I'm due 29 September. But according to my LMP it should be 2nd October. :)

This is my second baby, first time having the baby in HK. Due date - Oct 1st! Live in Quarry Bay, work in Central and would love to meet up other mummies to share the experience. free to meet up over the weekends as well. Keep me posted!

Welcome ladies, happy to see people showing up, seems we have a few first time moms and a few of us living in mid-levels west? (myself also, working in central) must be possible to meet. (though is coming weekend I am tied up with interviews for a potential domestic helper) the week after would be perfect, I propose two options, let's vote:

1. 6:30pm 18th April, Thursday, simple dinner at Dimsum sqaure, sheungwan
G/F, 88 Jervois Street,

2. 3pm, 20th April, satureday, fruit juice/healthy desert at Hang Fa lau 中環閣麟街34號 (Central).. (it doesn't really help going into starbucks now, since we are not allowed to drink coffee anymore:-(.
This location is very near the starting point of escalator from Queensroad, just walk up the road below the escalator (without going to the escalator), it's about 3m' walking, this dessert shop is on left hand side.

once we meet, we can figure out a easier way to share info if not everyone is checking into this web frequently.

If you are planning to go to private hospitals, the most nearby one to mid-level west is Canossa, it's on old peak road, in the end after checking around, I decided on this one actually, because I can walk over in 10m' instead of fearing for not able to get a taxi at the last minute... (though not many people seems to go for this one, the capacity is not as big)

Matilda is more western style, many expats go there, naturally pricy, though I been there once for a prenatal check, really didn't enjoy the zigzag drive up and didn't feel the service is strikingly higher than elsewhere..

Most of local HK people goes to Sanatorium, the one in happy valley, though my doctor said this is a very efficient hospital and tend to hush hush with speed of birth, if you're not done in an hour with natural delivery, then they push for c-section..

The Saturday option is the best for me on 20th April. I already have plans on 18th but can ususally do weekday evenings otherwise.

Jill, thanks for the hospital info, yes, canoossa would be my preference as they are opening the new building in the coming months! want to give it a try.

How was the dessert place?

My first baby (aargh!) is due on 24th Oct and would love to meet some other expectant mums... I too am planning to start antenatal yoga classes, how was the Yoga Room?

I'm based in TST and work full time so after work (de-caf) coffee is good for me or weekends. I will be going away with work on Sat PM so would be nice to meet up before then if possible... maybe Public Holiday on Weds? Anyone keen?
