Drawing class for 3 years old

i think 3 years is still a little too young... 4 is more appropriate. children don't have the manual dexterity at 3 yet to be able to draw.

i've taught kids for 15+ years. 3 year olds, generally, do not have the manual dexterity required to DRAW. that is not to say that they wouldn't enjoy an arts & crafts class, but to expext them to draw at such a young age is completely unrealistic.

i just looked at that website and i can say that for 4-5 yrs, no problem with what they are teaching... 3 is too young.

Hi Wendy,I have a 2 yr old & 3 yr old. They like fingerpainting and sponge painting. My 3 yr old draws balloons, circles & hedgehogs ( for some reason) My 2 yr old males her own ART. It's good for them. I call it ART TIME. I buy the bits & pieces at Toys R us and we do it at home. Sticking dry uncooked pasta onto plates to make faces, drawing pictures with crayons, markers, paintbrushes, vegetable stamps etc...............if you like come to my home...............PM me if you wish.

yes, 3 is a GREAT age for doing crafts, finger painting, stamping etc.

i guess when i hear "art class" and "draw", i'm getting a different picture in my head than what is being offered.

after all, how serious can it be if it is for a 3 year old, right?

My son is 2.8 and goes to KID A, it's a creative club in South Horizons in Ap Lei Chau. They have different plannings every week, and will do some drawing, collage, print making, painting, sculpture.... it's just a lot of fun and mess, but he loves it !
