Hi all,

Anyone have any experiences with Dr. Christine Choy as an OB/GYN? I'm quite early in my pregnancy (5 weeks) and am looking for a good doctor.

What are her charges for consultation and ultrasound?

Does she deliver at private hospitals like Canossa, Adventist or Matilda?

If you are already seeing Dr. Christine Choy, she is a great Obstetrics/Gyn. She delivered my boy at Matilda hospital in May 2005. She is very caring, she really cares for women. As a woman, she really knows what you do or don't like. She will try her best to avoid those which you wouldn't like. So, I had a happy delivery of my baby, I had an epidural labor. The anesthetist she recommended was great too.

She also replies my email when I have lots of worries and questions, esp. when I got flu. She can solve my problem and comfort me at that time.

Well we are also very happy with her! I got pregnant very fast under her treatment! I think she is better than the other doctors I have been to before!!
 
For those who had Dr. Choy,

1. How much did it cost you per-visit?
2. Did it include u/s pictures?
3. What was the average waiting time for checkups?

I see Dr Choy and think she is very good. I think if you ring the office they can tell you the costs involved. It might depend on your insurance but you can call and ask. Dr Choy has a 3d machine and every visit i get a chance to look at my baby on the 3D machine (and take home pictures and CD). I've not had to wait longer than 15mins and that is rare - she is very efficient although I guess as more and more people start to see her it might change but right now very good.

highly recommend Dr Choy - there seem to be lots of great obs/gynaes in hong kong to choose from so we are lucky.
 
She is very nice. In the begining, I felt she always rushed me; did not explain things very well. But that is because she is quite a busy lady. However, she is a VERY good doctor. I had a few problems and she treated me well. She knew before tests what might be wrong with me. It is nice to have her on your side.
