Hi,
Had a couple of questions for people who have had experience with Dr. Wong...

1) How is her bedside manner - is she open to answering questions, and helpful providing solutions??

2) Does she show genuine concern for patients or is she apathetic/cold?

3) Would you go to Dr. Wong again for pre-natal and delivery care??

thank you. :)

I went to Dr Wong for both my pregnancies though she didn't deliver my babies. I opted to go government because we didn't have insurance, but I went to Dr Wong for my prenatal appointments up to the week before I gave birth. I quite liked her no nonsense approach and I didn't want to be pampered. She always took time to answer my questions. A friend of mine had 2 babies delivered by her and was very happy with her.

I'm seeing her now for my ante-natal checkup. Both my husband and I like her straightforward approach. She does not rush through her appointments. We are both satisfied with her service.

she definitely perfers C-section - that is something you probably want to consider if you believe in vaginal delivery.

I had my baby C-sect by her. She is a nice, straightforward person. One thing good about her profession is that she didn't suggest doing too much ultrasound on your body or forcing you on her vitamins.

I consulted with her once and I wasn't comfortable with her at all......so I changed to another gynae/obstetrician. So my advice is to meet up with her once and decide for yourself...afterall, it's different with everyone.

You need to feel comfortable and at ease with your ob-gyn....

It's better to call her up and check. She stationed at Canossa Hospital in her outpatient hours. That's where I got my delivery packages.
