Hi,
I am not sure if anyone wants or possible or just checking first.
I have several bags(maybe 20pkts of 4-5oz frozen breastmilk dated in Jan and Feb 2009, to be honest they should be just fine (frozen milk can keep 3-6mths) but since I also have several bags of newer ones in March, April and May, and my baby is not going to finish all, I am thinking of throwing out those in Jan and Feb...

However, I also thought it is quite wasteful and maybe someone out there may just need breastmilk and if anyone don't mind or is interested, please PM me, thanks.
You have to collect yourself in Tseung Kwan O, the bags are in Playtex storage bags with clips, so you need a freezer bag and clips.( I need the clips back.)
If noone respond to this, I will throw away the milk by end of this month, cheers

Don't throw it! If no one takes it there are plenty of things you can do with it. You can even use it instead of water for your indoor plants. They love breastmilk!

Check with midwives, lactation consultants and hospital NICUs. When I was breastfeeding, my lactation consultant was asking around for extra breastmilk for a couple of babies in NICU.

For a start, you can call these midwives here in Geobaby directory.

Donate Expressed Milk

Hi,

Could you advise to where you donate the expressed milk? My baby is now two months old and I have surplus on the supply.

Actually, I tried to look for milk donation when I had my first baby but it seemed to me that no organisation takes the expressed milk in Hong Kong.

Thanks in advance for your help.
