Do you replace your bottles every few months?

Hi -- I'm using Dr. Browns PES bottles to feed my baby. When I was in a baby shop the other day the sales person told me I should replace my bottles with new ones every six months, as the bottles may have some damage (though invisible) during cleaning and sterlizing and it can leak harmful chemicals into the milk. I saild the PES bottles are BPA free, but the sales said well PES bottles may last longer but still should be changed every 8 or 9 months.

Has anyone heard (or been doing) this before? Thanks a lot!

i haven't changed my Born Free bottles, but I have changed the teats....if your baby also uses a soother, i would change those every 3-4 months too.

I am also wondering how often should we change our baby's milk bottles..I'm using the Avent range currently and haven't changed his bottles so far..he's 9 months now.
Also, is there any BPA free bottles that anyone can recommend? THanks!
