Diwali inspired costume for school?

Hi

My son needs to come to school next week in a Diwali inspired costume. Any ideas where I can find that sort of thing near Central (need to go in my lunch break from work).

There are a couple of Indian clothing stores in Wanchai. I haven't really paid attention if they had children's clothes but worth a try. We normally just wear the shirts with regular jeans/trousers.

The building is Cathay 88, 125 Wanchai Rd. There's a store on the G/F and also on the 1/F
 
Help! Thanks for the suggestion Rani but no boys clothes in the shops there. Any other suggestions in Central-ish (can't get to TST which is what some of the shops suggested)?! Otherwise I'll be sending him in a brightly patterned Tshirt! Thanks.
 
ooh no! did you check both the stores? I was hoping to pop over there this pm as the outfit I have for my guy is too small. I can't think of any other stores on HK island. we'll have to wear a bright t shirt too.
 
Yep - there were about 3 - 4 stores. One was closed until 3pm so maybe that was the one you were thinking of? Had to zip over at lunchtime so didn't have long. Most didn't have kids clothes at all, some had girls only. There was one boy outfit on the 3rd floor I think, which would have fit him (size 5) but was a fawn colour (quite nice) but not bright like I was hoping for. I also thought it was a bit too expensive just for one day at school but you may have been happy with it. Beaded vest, long sleeve top, scarf and pants. Thanks for the recommendation anyway!
