distilled water?

Actually distilled water is better than boiling water specailly in Hong Kong. I ask the doctor and he told me it was fine. Dont worry..:agree:

i've used distilled water since my boy was born...when he was born he was in the bottom 2%...now at 6.5 months, he's around 25-30% or so....distilled water hasn't seemed to hurt him at all...another good thing about it is that when you travel, it doesn't matter what brand you buy...

oops, i just notices that this thread is over a year old....duh!

I prefer boiled and mineral water

Though the water source of Hong Kong is infamous for its pollution, distilled water lacks the minerals that the human body needs. My husband seconds me on this. Besides, not all brands of distilled water are reliable. I prefer boiled and mineral water.

Don't give mineral water to babies

When I said "I prefer boiled and mineral water", I mean to people in general. I just read in other threads that they are giving mineral water to babies. According to my husband (he knows better), DON'T GIVE MINERAL WATER TO BABIES. Every spring varies from one another in terms of minerals and is not suitable for babies. As for distilled water, my husband learns from his working experience that Watson's distilled water is the best, the purest. But my objection to distilled water is that it lacks minerals, and people drinking it may lose their immunisation to germs.

This is what I've heard...

I've never looked into the validity on this, but I've heard that distilled water actually drains your body of vitamins & minerals. A friend has a friend who lived in HK for many years and when she moved to Canada was diagnosed with cancer and the doctor told her that it was related to drinking distilled water. On the flipside, I heard that natural spring water is the best kind of water you can drink. Again I've never reserched this info, but I think it's a good question to ask next time you're in the doctor's office.
