Difficult to find Maternity Fashion around

I love to wear fashionable clothes but I found it so difficult to get a nice pair of maternity jeans in Hong Kong. Do you know anywhere I could find the fashionable maternity jeans ?

don't know how trendy you dress, but i got some flared jeans at the Tseung Kwan O Mall where there is a trendy-ish maternity shop.

I donated them to www.eco-mama.org about 2 months ago and last time I called them they hadn't put them out yet.

Maybe they are still there! ALong with my other cool clothes my sister sent me from the US.

They are all size small.

thank you very much, will check out those stores. or should I only just try to buy from the internet. Have u gals try to order maternity wear online ?

i personally tried it on before buying because u want to see how much room you have left for later pregnancy.

In the meantime here are some online options, and there is always the classifieds :)

You might want to look at these two shops you can order online from Singapore:
http://www.mothersenvogue.com/
http://www.momsinmind.com.sg/ (they have links on their site to other good maternity shopping sites!)

Or Online from Taiwan/HK:
http://www.bunintheoven.com.hk/

For Bras, international orders are easy at:
http://www.figleaves.com

For a very comfortable bra:
http://www.hk-bfmoms.com/
(Essential Bra and Leisure Bra - inexpesive and perfect for nursing)
The site is in Chinese, but has lots of English and you can call them.

and three UK sites:
http://www.isabellaoliver.com
http://www.hommemummy.co.uk
http://www.cravematernity.co.uk

Buying maternity clothes online is easier than 'regular' clothes as they are less fitted - mostly S M or L :)

Hi,

I'm looking for a maternity swimsuit- I was in Mothercare the other day and theirs were reduced to $150 which seemed fantastic until I realised they only had the biggest sizes left which are too big- the shop assistant said it's the same at all Mothercares in HK.
I know Bumps to Babes have some but I wondered if anyone knew of anywhere else, of of anywhere online that has good maternity swimsuits.

I recently ordered some anita maternity bras off figleaves.com, and they were fantastic. They arrived three days after I ordered them, and the bras are so comfortable!

Also for basic materntiy staples, i.e. t-shirts etc. you can try Bun in the Oven; they are based in HK and the service is fantastic! Plus clothes are reasonably priced.

Try Mayeelok! Nice and fashionable maternity wear

Though they're not specialised in maternality wear but I found some of their one-pieces fit for mom-to-be a lot! I'm now 6 mths pregnant and most of the time wear their one-pieces with stocking. Nice fabric (silk) and stylish. Definitely can be worn after birth! Here's their website: MAYEELOK. Hope this help all mom-to-be who are looking for decent and stylish dresses!

Hi, I got my maternity jeans at Zara. They are very nice and cost about $500. Previously I have purchased maternity jeans via ebay. There are lots of shops on there that ship from the US. The brands include Citizens, Sevens, Paige etc. However, you do need to try on the same style in a shop first to ensure that you order the correct size.

For maternity swim suits try isabella oliver mentioned on the other page - you just need to check if they ship to HK. V. good qualit

'Muji' @ Ocean Terminal TST has maternity wear.
Their underwear are quite good too, all cotton, & without wire. but their sizes are limited, they only have S, M, L.

Anyone knows where to find maternity/ nursing bras of good quality? Preferrably lighly padded and with some support so breasts look better in shape under my work clothes. Thanks!

They have both options. I bought the maternity/nursing bras so I wouldn't need to buy seperate nursing bras afterwards. Genie in sogo, cb, also do maternity bras.

I got my swimming costume from ozzie cossie in lkf. Not a maternity swimsuit but a two piece with strings on the sides so you can adjust. Worked well for me during maternity, and have been able to use it since. Only thing is next time I'll buy a non-wired one as wiring hurt towards the end of my pregnancy.

It's part of underwear section. They do both wired and non- wired. i got padded non wired one that is seamless - looks good under t'shirts etc. I think they do 3 or 4 styles/usual colours. If you after something a bit more fancy 9moths does really nice stuff but more expensive.
