I've been looking at diaper disposal systems but would like some more input. I think individual bags per diaper are too much waste (feel bad about disposable diapers already!). What other options are there?
We use the Nappy Safe which is like a diaper genie. You just dump the dirty diaper in the top and turn over the handle so it falls in the bin. I like it b/c you can use any type of plastic liner inside and don't have to buy specific ones. It's on the floor in the nursery and can hold a lot of nappies (maybe @ 10-12).
why do you need a system at all? we just threw our diapers into a trash in the guest bathroom and then made sure that this trash was emptied once a day.
Thanks for your input. I have a very sensitive nose and definitely want something more than a regular bin. Whenever there's nappies in a regular bin I can smell them a mile off. Looked in BtoB and they have a Kornell bin. Where did you get your nappy safe from?
we actually got our nappy safe from London, but I a sure there is something similar in Hong Kong . . .also check classifieds here on geobaby or asiaexpat for perhaps a 2nd hand one...
