Diaper Change Frequency

I have been blessed with a healthy baby who is now 2 weeks old. My mother in law was surprised to hear that my baby poo-poos 2 or 3 times a day as she says the normal frequency should be ONCE a day only.

I have checked on the websites and seems that every baby is different, but still wanted to ask the experienced mums to see if there is a need for me to be concerned.

2-3 times is fine. our son used to poo 3-4 times a day and we changed his formula and he started to poo only once a day and we wished he poo 2-3 times a day. But 2-3 times or once a day is all fine as long as it is not liquid . nothing to worry
 
I am assuming he is formula fed? All babies are different, as long as he is not constipated or has diarrhea, I wouldn't worry about it. At 2 weeks of age, my babies pooped pretty much every feed, like 10 times a day
 
Our guy would poop 3-4 times as well. I was nursing him. He's now 5 and still poops at least 2x/day.
 
my little ones would poop at almost every single changing. this lasted until about 2.5-3 months. my son (2.5yr) is very regular with one per day. my daughter (8m) does it either 2x per day or one huge explosive one!
