Detergent for Cloth Diapers?

For those that use cloth diapers, what kind of detergent do you use?

I have fuzzibunz and grovia diapers. Any advice would be appreciated!

I use Country Save, and then only measure out a tiny amount. If you use anything harsh, or too much, the residue builds up on the nappy affecting the absorbency, but also not good for baby's skin. Avoid anything containing pure soap, enzymes, fabric whiteners, fabric brighteners, fabric softeners or anything scented. The simpler and more natural the better. I also 'strip' them every now and again to remove any build-up, by putting them in the machine without any detergent, cold rinse, very hot wash, then cold rinse.. Good luck!

I use earth's choice (or similar if something else is on special) and, like Lali07, only use a tiny bit. I also do an extra rinse each time.

I use country save too. it's available at just green and probably other places as well. Love it. Best one I've tried, anywhere, hands down.

A stay home mama here in HK has very recently started making and selling an all natural non toxic laundry soap which is good for cloth diapers. I use it for all my laundry, its a lot cheaper than the store bought counterparts. Its https://www.facebook.com/SqueakyCleanHongKong based in DB. No I'm not on commission hehe just like to support other mamas and local business :D

I use regular amway detergent and only half the regular amount. So far I haven't had any problems with stains or smells.
