Why doesn't your husband want to adopt? We tried to have a baby for 7 years and were not successful. We didn't want to go through fertility treatments and adopted a beautiful baby boy 2 1/2 years ago. We love him more than anything in this world and I can't imagine that feeling is any different than if we gave birth to him. I know it is a very difficult matter, but don't give up hope. My prayers are with you.

difficult to come to terms with

we have also been trying for years with no success, and now my husband says that he does not want to proceed with the next steps and get himself checked or pursue any fertility assitance.
I have been checked out and appear fine so am finding it extremely difficult to comes to terms with his attitude and feel very let down by it. So I think I understand a bit of how you are feeling, it a bit like being on an emotional roller coaster.

Try accupuncture and Chinese Medicine. It works very well and without side-effects. You can always go for more invasive ideas or adoption later...

Cheer up. We were married for 9 years before we finally got a baby and I have been through the same and understand how you feel.
To share my experience, physical and mental stress is a major hindrance for fertility. I have undergone different methods and everytime high expectation ended up with dissappointment. One day I decided to give up and pamper myself with a long (2 months) and stress-free vacation in Hawaii. You know what, I miraculously got pregnant after the trip without any assistance.
Other friends who have similar expereince have sought Chinese medications to recuperate their body system and it worked for them. But of course, you have to be patient. You may try:
