Deposit refund from Canossa? Possible?

I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and have been accepted by Canossa. Due to some reservations on my first OB(who delivers @ Canossa), I have switched to another OB(who delivers @ Matilda)... I have put my name on waiting list for Matilda...Any idea if I can get the deposit back?

My understanding is that you cannot get the deposit back except in cases where the pregnancy was terminated for some genuine medical reason.

I also heard that deposit is non refoundable. But call hospital and see what they will tell you!

Sorry, utterly useless for you but for anyone else who gets a confirmed place Matilda (and probably the other hospitals) does give you x number of weeks to pay which usually takes you up to around the 12 week scan mark so you can wait and check everything is ok and you are happy before you give them the deposit.

same for canossa actually but obviously OP could not wait and had to pay right away
