DB Pediatricians

Hello!

Does anyone have any information or advice regarding the pediatricians in DB?

I noticed that there were a couple of names on Medical Clinic's signage ... and I have had one pediatrician recommended who is in Central, but thought if the ones here in DB are good, then why go any further.

There's only one that I know of in Island Health : Dr Yvonne Ou. Most of the GP's in DB you will find have plenty experience with young kids and newborns.

We see Dr. Ou and are very pleased. The only thing is she only comes to D.B. once a week on Wednesday.
 
We see Dr Ou with our three. She's fantastic and was present at the birth of the last two. She's calm and very knowledgeable. She also doesn't mind lots of questions and gives you very clear, down to earth advice. Unfortunately she is only at the Island Health practice on Wednesday mornings. We also see Dr Oliver, he's also fantastic; an excellent family GP, the best we've ever had.

thanks for your imput! Sounds like Dr. Ou is very good but that I shouold be prepared for a busy Wednesday schedule - and set up my appointments way in advance when possible.

I think you'll be safe w/Island Health. Julia, the friendly clinic manager, is also a pediatric nurse who runs Well Baby clinic weekly.
