Hi

We are planning to order cupcakes from Compleete Deelite for our baby's first bday party. Has anyone tried their cakes? Are they good? Our other option is a bigger single cake from arome bakery.
Which of these two taste better?

I dont like Complete Deelite personally. U can try Sweet Secrets and Cakealicous both in central excellent cupcakes and if u can there is place in Horizon plaza i forget the name which specializes in cupcakes fancy but real nice
 
we were at a party the other night and they had a great cake from compleete deelite. the cake was great, the icing wasn't divine, but still pretty good.
 
If you have an oven, you can bake your own. The Betty Crocker chocolate cake mixes you get in the supermarket are really yummy and are always a hit at our parties.
 
The blueberry ones from Betty Crocker are our favorites. They're so easy to make... and a lot cheaper than buying ready-made ones.

except that blueberry are more muffin than cupcake...

i can personally vouch for chef's son! i've recommended him on here before. he does terrific cupcakes. my kids LOVED THEM!

i would have ordered more for my kids' birthdays, except that we've decided to have their party in canada next month instead of a few weeks ago on their real birthdays.
 
oops, cara, you're right! I just group muffins and cupcakes together automatically as they "look" the same. :)

chef, i will be ordering more from you for sure! i have some friends coming to visit in early march... maybe i can talk hubby into letting me do it then. (it's hard for me to talk him into it as we just got a new oven and he prefers that i make them myself!)

What i m looking for is one small cake, maybe around 1pound, for cutting on the top and then abt 80 cupcakes for the guests. I have seen your son's webpage and the cupcakes look really good.
Can you msg me how much you charge and how do i arrange for the stand?

Too dry

I ordered from Complete Deelite 2 years ago and found their cup cakes too dry and the icing too artificially sweet.

Since we want to give you the best of our efforts , we would appreciate it , if you can give us atleast 10 to 12 days early notice , so as to be able to get all ingredients and plan accordingly for your needs .
Also we just want to have fun together in the kitchen experimenting for people we dont know for their needs and budgets ,but eventually,would make friends with...
Another aspect we like to offer is free tasting , you are at no time obliged to let us make it for you.
If you give us a call we would love to bake some fresh cuppies for you ,and you come taste and then decide for yourself.!!!!

Also want to add , No minimum order is required , we will bake any amount ,even if it is just 1, the rest we will eat !!! HAHAH
