Hi -

Has anyone had his/her child go through a K2 interview with the Creative Primary Schools Kindergarten (located on Oxford road in Kowloon Tong)?

If so, what kinds of questions were asked?

We're visiting from the US and are looking to have our daughter accepted in a K2(Sept'08) before relocating.

Our interview with CPSK is scheduled for this Tuesday, January 29, 2008. It will be held in English as our daughter only knows Mandarin and English.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks

My daughter went for a K1 interview last Oct. The interview took about 20 mins and the teacher asked quite a lot of questions - including colours, forms, numbers, animals, fruits, matching etc. She even asked my daughter to sing a song! However, I must say that the whole interview was very relaxing. The teacher was so nice and there was no pressure at all! At the end of the interview, the teacher also spent time to explain to me about their philosophy and curriculum - unlike some kindies that were very rush and made me feel very tense!

Hi -

Thank you for the quick response.

Out of curiosity, did you end up enrolling your daughter in CPSK or did you select another Kindie?

Thanks

Yes, I have enrolled her to CPSK as well as another kindie in Taipo. I still haven't made up my mind yet because I like CPSK but it is a bit too far for her to travel everyday. However, the kindie in Taipo is not as good as CPSK but it is close to my place so it is difficult for me to make decision now.
