Corporate Maternity Insurance (from work/employer)

For those who have all their maternity expenses covered through a corporate policy from work/spouse's work, which company provides the most complete coverage (all tests, prenatal visits, peds visits, delivery charges, single/private room, etc.)? Which company (BUPA, Cigna, Allianz) do y'all have coverage from?

P.S. Sorry to ask another insurance question, please forgive. :)

Thanks in advance. :)

there r 3 package with max. claim 30k, 60k & 90k.

Maternity

? Covers treatments related to maternity including:
a. Pre-natal & post-natal medical treatment
b. Delivery expense – Hospital for Room & Board, General
Nursing Services, Obstetrician’s Fee
c. Any special hospital service including infant’s charges
for the first 7 days
? Benefit shall only be payable if the pregnancy commences after the

? Maternity class is not covered

I hope this may help.

We have Cigna and they have covered everything including a doula, and a single first class room at the Matilda, though didn't use antenatal classes as it was my second and third pregnancy.

Jools,
Did they require that you could not be pregnant before being on the plan, like the one kerkermui mentioned?

Thanks again. :)

Hi,
My husband got his job in Hong Kong and I was already pregnant with our second child. We were not insured with Cigna at the time, as the UK insurance company used by my husband's business is different. My husband told his company that one of the provisos for taking the job would be that my pregnancy and labour would be covered and that is what they made sure happened. So ( in fewer words) no, I wasn't covered with Cigna until after I was pregnant. I hope that makes sense.

My husband just received a job offer in Hong Kong and I am pregnant with my second child (22 weeks!) They told us that I would be covered under the Cigna and AIA options, but with Cigna it is only 80% of maternity costs. AIA covers 100% up to HK$70,000 (so it would not cover the entire cost at most HK private hopsitals). AIA has two upgrades but since I am already pregnant they are not available to me. How did your Cigna plan work, did you have only 80% or did your husband negotiate 100% with his work package somehow? How much was your birth at Matilda? What hospitals and OBs are covered by Cigna? Which hospitals and OBs are covered by AIA? Any information is welcome!
